Councilwoman Berland is a tireless advocate for open and accountable government where she promoted measures that increased the safety and security in Huntington, advocated for disabled residents and took a stand for Huntington’s senior citizens, supported our veterans, protected our community’s environment and kept Huntington beautiful, encouraged and supported the youth in our community, encouraged a spirit of charity and volunteerism and supported the water, boating, sports and recreation communities in the Huntington. During her 16 years in office on the Town Board, Councilwoman Berland passed numerous resolutions and authored a variety of legislation that greatly impacted the quality of life for Huntington residents.
